3 quick and easy ways to organise your desk to increase your productivity

To organize something means to arrange something in a structured or systematic way. Reading these tips on how to organize your desk will not only help coordinate your desk but also your life.

1. Clip-on desk organizers

Want to maximise the space on your desk? Then get creative and make the most of the space you have. These hanging organisers are great because it can declutter and free up space on your desk! You can simply attach velcro to any existing pen or pencil holder you have and stick the other side of the velcro to the edge of your desk. This is a great way to organise items that need to be stored but still within reach. After all, every minute that is spent organising an hour is earned.

2. Organise smaller supplies

Organising your desk doesn't always mean sorting through pens, pencils and files. Often times, we forget that organisation also lies in arranging the smaller items or supplies we need such as paper clips, pins and rubber bands. Putting these small bits and bobs in a specific place will avoid creating a cluster on your desk. You can purchase desk organisers for a low price at Japan Home Store in Hong Kong or you can even turn this into a DIY project. All you will need is a bit of old cardboard and some super glue. Click this link to see how you can make your own desk organiser. Who knew trash could turn into treasure?

3. Charging station organiser

Having wires all around your workspace can be a little bit distracting. All you need to declutter your desk is a little bit of blue tack. First, create little balls of blue tack and stick them to the edge of your desk. Once they’re stuck, create a little dent in the blue tack where your charger head will be placed. The blue tack helps to keep the charger neat and from falling on the floor. You can stick the blue tack all along your desk for as many chargers as you have. An alternative would be to purchase wire organisers on Amazon.
